2017 December 14, Washington, D.C. .  Axon Global executes an "all hands on deck engagement",  dedicating significant resources to participate as senior advisors to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C), National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), National Cyber Exercise and Planning Program (NCEPP), Cyber Storm Initiative planning and execution events.  According to DHS, "The [Cyber Storm] exercise will focus on the critical manufacturing and transportation sectors, with participation from the information technology and communications sectors; law enforcement, defense, and intelligence agencies; state, local, and territorial governments; and international partners."

2017 November 30, Washington, D.C. .  Axon Global CEO, Israel Martinez, was featured as the anchor speaker at the 13th U.S.-Japan Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum.  The forum "brought together experts from private and public sectors; power companies; cybersecurity industries; researchers; and government regulators from both the United States and Japan.  Discussions included  cybersecurity threats to smart grids and opportunities for bilateral cooperation in addressing those threats.  Martinez focused on creating awareness regarding recent cyberattacks on the power distribution systems of both countries and how they are increasingly damaging due the evolution of IT intersecting OT and IoT. Revelations included how new threats can "hop from i.p. based networks to industrial controlled networks", which previously was not feasible.  Martinez stated, "This invitation was perfect timing with our new launch into the Asia Pacific region.  Our new initiatives in Japan specifically, complete our global reach around the world, as Axon Global."

2017 October 10, Washington, D.C. .  Axon Global, has been selected to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, CS&C, NCCIC, and National Cyber Exercise and Planning Program (NCEPP), Cyber Storm Initiative.  According to DHS, "Cyber Storm is DHS’s capstone, national-level exercise and includes participants from across the cyber incident response community.  The exercise supports strategy to assess cybersecurity preparedness; examine incident response processes, procedures, and information sharing mechanisms; and identify areas for improvement internally for participating organizations as well as within their community of interest. Communities of interest include, IT/Comms, Transportation [aviation and automotive], Critical Manufacturing, States, Federal, LE/I/DoD, and International (national CERT level).

2017 September 27, Atlanta, GA.  Axon Global, led by Israel Martinez, is recognized by Business Insider at the Atlanta, Chief Information Security Officer's Executive Leadership Summit which included executives from FBI, IBM, Aetna International, PSCU, Chemical Bank, DarkTrace, and Proofpoint.

2017 September 13, Washington, D.C. .  Axon Global and the Global Manufacturing Information Sharing and Analysis Organization, led by Israel Martinez, extend their international outreach from Global F500 companies in the U.S., AsiaPAC and the Middle East, into the United Kingdom.  At the request of the British Embassy, both joined efforts with an international delegation of UK and US cybersecurity innovators and thought leaders from industry and government at the Washington, D.C. British Embassy.  The Working Group Roundtables included,  Commercial; Law Enforcement; System Integrators; and the MSSP/ISP community.  Others attending included DOD, DHS, and US CYBERCOM.

2017 July 19, Washington, D.C. .  Axon announces the renewal of a Research & Development contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) which includes, "enhancing the protection of critical infrastructure and government systems that are vital to national security".  Israel Martinez, CEO of Axon, "believes this will markedly increase it's value proposition in the marketplace.  We believe this national security, legal-platform, is the only currently available option as a defendable position against the European Union Global Data Protection Regulation."   The Hon. 2017 April 26, Washington, D.C.. 2017 April 14, Cambridge Massachusetts. Israel Martinez, CEO and Hannah Norris, Chief Success Officer, both Axon Global executives, receive certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Financial Technology Innovation (FINTECH) program in blockchain technology. MIT FINTECH is part of MIT’s Media Lab which has embraced the ideals of anti-disciplinary work, that is “working in spaces that simply do not fit into any existing academic discipline—a specific field of study with its own particular words, frameworks, and methods.” Blockchain technology is said to be the new technology infrastructure that will dominate financial services and other industries within the next ten years.
